March 28, Richfield, Utah
We are ready to head towards Michigan. We like to go about 300 miles a day, so it’ll take about 4-5 days.
Well, last night we noticed a nail, spike or bolt in our new tire we had put on that day with only 154 miles on that tire. Sigh… So we got up on time and went to another tire shop to repair the tire.
The guilty bolt
Back on the road!
We stayed in Silt, Colorado. March 29 headed over the mountains on I-70 in Colorado and stayed in Limon, Colorado. The ride was a bit rainy and a little snow. We were glad when we got to the campground.
Saturday night we made it to Nebraska and stayed near Grand Island and the Platte River. There were thousands of Sandhill Cranes! Kinda cool.
Easter morning we listened to Faith’s service as we traveled down the road. Christ is risen! He sure did!
We had our last dinner of our trip at the Iowa Chop House in Iowa City. Kurt had ribeye and I had lamb chops. Very good!
Monday, April 1 - last day on the road.
