February 28, we traveled to San Angelo State Park. We only stayed 1 night to travel on to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We went out to eat at the Angry Cactus and were enjoyed this cool restaurant. The food was so very good. I ordered a Bloody Mary that I should have taken a picture of - because it was picture worthy! And yummy!! I also ordered the salmon and Kurt had the blackened catfish. Both were presented well and tasted just like it looked.
After we got back to camp, we relaxed and witnessed a beautiful sunset.
March 1 we arrived at Palo Duro Canyon. We spent the next 3 days hiking this beautiful State Park.
The Lighthouse. I think it should be renamed to Big Red.
This little dude wanted my apple, so I tossed it to him.
