Choke Canyon State Park, Texas. February 26 - March 1

A Green Jay in flight.

Our next campground was Choke Canyon State Park, Texas. Choke Canyon is known for its birding trails and the lake.  It was a very hot day when we arrived!

Friday and Saturday we hiked through the brush and went to the bird sanctuary.  The lake was very low, but we saw lots of birds, including the Green Jays, and other wild life.
