Saturday we travelled to Hocking Hills and went on a 6 1/2 mile hike. It was a nice hike - for the most part easy paths with a few places of scrambling over rocks and big roots.
We went to the town of Logan and ate at Home Tavern - just a typical tavern with typical tavern food.
Sunday, October 12, we hiked 7 miles in Lake Hope State Park. A nice long hike through the woods.
This furnace was used to make iron.
We have had absolutely lovely weather here! But tomorrow we move on to New River Gorge.
