Santorini and Athens, Greece - October 20 & 21, 2024

 

Saturday we went to Santorini and headed to a winery. They do not grow grapevines in rows and rows of vines. There grapes grow more on a bush that stay near the ground so they can get the moisture from the humidity from the ground. 

We received a snack and had 2 dry wines and one port wine. It was very good.

Then we went to Oia. We saw the beautiful coast to ale pics.

After shopping, we headed back to the shop for dinner and a Beetles Show.

Sunday we were an Athens and took an electric bike tour. It was awesome! Our guide carefully guided us through the streets and told us about Athens

There was a bike race in Athens.  We decided not to join them - cuz we didn’t want to show them up. 😜

Back at the ship, we relaxed, packed and had dinner. The dinner was special because we celebrated Lou’s birthday!

This vacay went by fast!  It was fabulous! Thanks to Shawn Compagner, our travel agent, the Viking Crew and Ship and the great people we met!

Corfu, Greece & Olympia, Greece - October 18-19, 2024

 Our journey on Thursday, October 17 took us to Corfu Greece.  We had a relaxing morning and headed to the fortress on our own.

Friday we went to Olympia, Greece to visit the ruins of the Olympics.

We finished our night with dinner and an ABBA concert.
