February 4-7, 2026 Topsail Hill Preserve State Park

 Wednesday was a rainy day as we traveled to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Florida. 


We set up and went to dinner at Outcast Bar and Grill and shared a wonderfully spicy crab boil. So good!

Thursday morning was another very windy and cold morning.  We lounged in the morning and then hiked around the state park.  It is a lovely state park!








We got back to the camper and took care of a few things and relaxed before dinner.  Our site is very nice!



For dinner we went to the Cajun Corner Bar and Grill.  Kurt ordered a sampler with crawfish étouffée, gumbo, fried shrimp and catfish.  This was Kurt’s favorite,  I had the red fish.  Excellent food!




Friday, February 6, we went took our bikes to go hiking.  We hiked the dunes at Topsail.  They are not as high as in Michigan, but it felt like we were back in the mitten. Temps were in the 60’s.










After hiking - dinner time!  Off to Stinky’s. Kurt again had a sampler with catfish, étouffée and shrimp with cheesy grits.  I had my fav! Oysters and a basil cucumber gimlet!  I also had the étouffée.





Saturday - time to leave Topsail.  We really enjoyed this state park!
