We stayed 2 nights in Salome, Az. A lot of desert all around. We hiked in the desert, did laundry and sat by the pool. The best way to do laundry is sitting by a pool! 😁
The first night we ate at Salome Restaurant. Good food, nothing special.
Tuesday night we went to the little dive bar, Don’s Cactus Bar. They took cash only. They had only 5 items on the menu for the night on a white board. Kurt had a patty melt and I had the beef tacos. Then we went to the bar to order our beers. The food was fantastic! Definitely would go back!
We sat outside and talked with a few people there. Another pianist was there and we chatted for a bit. She was into gospel and polkas. She said I should get an accordion. 🎶
