February 19 we woke up to a pretty sunrise and a partly cloudy day. It was windy.
We went for a 5 mile hike down the beach. That is all you see is beach - no buildings, stores, restaurants - just beach and campers in the camping section.
February 20 we “went” to church, went for a walk and made dinner. A sunny but another windy day.
Monday and Tuesday were beautiful days. The days started foggy, but the sun shone thru and really warmed up. Still very windy. But if we sat on the east side of the camper, we were shielded from the wind.
An Eastern Meadowlark - such a pretty song!
Then today came - rainy and guess what?! Even windie!!. The forecast was not looking good - colder weather. Because we were boondocking, we did not have all our power, no cell reception and Wi-Fi for just a short time when we turned the truck on. We decided to pack up and head to Choke Canyon State Park. We got a bit sandblasted packing up. 😵💫
It will be colder by Choke Canyon - but less wind.
We enjoyed our stay, but would probably enjoy it more in warmer weather.
