February 9,, 2022 - Gulf Shores, Alabama

Kurt and I arrived in Gulf Shores on Monday, February 7 at Gulf State Park.  A lovely site!  Another great state park with lots of walking and biking trails.  We have thoroughly enjoyed it here.  Monday was chilly - but Tuesday and Wednesday had beautiful blue skies, but quite chilly!

Monday night we took Carl and Carla’s advice and ate at De Soto’s.  It did not disappoint! The Trigger fish was delish!  Thanks for the great recommendation Carl and Carla!

On Tuesday, Kurt took Tito to the beach.  He had been a bit stir crazy before and loved it there!  Then we wnet for a 5 mile hike through the marsh and then on the beach.

Today I “went” to BSF online, cleaned the camper while Kurt took Tito for a walk and then we biked for 13 miles on the trails.  

Kurt had a DBA Happy Hour later in the afternoon.  I was nicely asked by Al to post more often.  Ok Al - I will try!  😊

Kurt was kind and took me to Lauria’s by the Beach.  It is a wine and charcuterie place.  We enjoyed a flight of wine with cheeses and chocolate parings.  Then a sandwhich to finish it off.  I loved it!  It was fun to sit at the bar and talk with the people there.  

Tomorrow we leave for Louisiana.  I will try to post more often.  😊
