April 12, 2022 - The Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert

The wind has kept blowing through out the night and morning.  We were going to hike, but decided to take the scenic road instead through the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert.  It was also quite chilly (58 degrees plus a very cold and strong wind).

A perfect day for a ride and a couple of stops.

We stopped at the Visitor Center to stamp our Passport and saw the skeletons of some ancient dinasaurish creatures.  Danny would have been so excited to see these!

After the Visitor Center, we started our scenic ride.

A black crow (lots of those!)

Tomorrow we hope to hike - but the lessons we have learned on this trip is to be flexible.  The verse is in Hezekiah...Those who are flexible shall not be bent out of shape.  😀
