We arrived at Water’s Edge RV in Port St Joe on Saturday afternoon.
After we set up, we walked across the street to Indian Pass Raw Bar. This place was not fancy but very efficient and very very good! You help yourself to a draft beer or beer from the cooler. You fill out on a form what you want and they take it and make it fresh. We sat up at the bar - which was so fun because we could watch them in action. We shared a bowl of gumbo first. I had steamed oysters and Kurt had baked oysters. So fun and good!
Sunday we rode our bikes 20 miles along the coast. Nice ride until we had to turn around into the wind..
We went for dinner at Cat 5 Raw Bar and Grill. We sat outside on the beach. It was so nice! We both had the triple tail dinner. Very good!
Most days we rode our bikes a mile to the beach and then walked the beach. We saw birds and dolphins. A great beach to walk down!

Wednesday was a real treat! We went to Skully’s Low Country Boil. This is a take-out place, but they have picnic tables you can eat at and free beer while you wait for your food. It was fantastic! We sat and talked with other people while we waited. We felt like we were in a friend’s backyard.

We also sat at the beach everyday (except Friday - a little rain and cloudy). The beach is so nice and not busy. The temps were in the 80’s - warmer than normal this time of year - but perfect for us!
Thursday at the beach there was a lot of excitement as these boys (young men) caught a shark.
Friday we biked to the beach and walked. We turned around a little early, and good thing we did. We got back to Beauty just before it down poured! Friday night we went back to Indian Pass Raw Bar and had crab legs and steamed oysters. A good way to end our week here.
