March 2, 2022 - Day 2 at Big Bend

 Today we left at 9 and travelled to the Chisos Mountains to hike. The scenery is massive and beautiful!

We first hiked the Windows trail.

A Mexican Jay - he sang in Spanish

Then we went on a drive on the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive. This place is massive!

Following our drive, we hiked the Santa Elena Canyon Trail.  It was stunning!! My favorite.

After our hike, we went for dinner at the Lodge and were pleasantly surprised with a great dinner with quite a view!

Then we headed back to Beauty and Tito - enjoying the colors of the sunset on the mountains.

A GREAT DAY!
