March 3, 2022 - Day 3 at Big Bend

 Today we left for the Hot Springs Canyon Trail from our campsite. Our campsite was a mile away from the trail head.

We spotted a couple Golden Eagles.

We made it to the Hot Springs. It was amazing how hot it was! 105 degrees! We were too hot to go in, but we felt the water and then the Rio Grand - that was much cooler!

On the way back (the same way we came) it was hot and no shade.  I got a little over heated and took it slow. Kurt was very patient with me.

We got back to camp and I did laundry and Kurt made dinner. I was pooped - but a good pooped. 😊
