Wow! What an awesome day! We were advised by Dave Geldersma and a lady at the Campground to check out Valley of Fire. We went and were not disappointed! We hiked for 3.5 miles and then later a mile hike. The views were phenomenal! So - here are all the pics I could not stop taking...(notice the change in rock colors and terrain).

On our way back to the camper, we Facetimed my family and found out Matt and Elise are expecting. Icing on the cake of a great day!
After getting back to the camper, we went to dinner at the Angry Butcher Steak House. We ate our prime rib up at the bar, which was very good (but not as good as what Kurt makes) and had a delightful time talking to the people around the bar.
